This notice explains how MASA Ventures Ltd, which operates SREmonitor, handles the personal data of people who apply for a role with us. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
MASA Ventures Ltd (company number 17432452), 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, is the controller of your application data. Contact us at privacy@sremonitor.io.
The details you give us in the application form: your name, email address, optional phone number and LinkedIn link, your CV (including anything it contains), and any message you choose to write. Please do not include sensitive details such as health, ethnicity, religion or criminal records; we do not ask for them.
We use your details to assess your application, to contact you about it and to keep a record of our hiring. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in recruiting people to work with us, and taking steps at your request before a possible contract.
Only the people involved in hiring. Your application is stored with our database and hosting providers, and we email it to our hiring mailbox, including your CV as an attachment, using our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf. See section 4 of our Privacy Policy for the categories of providers we use, and section 5 for international transfers.
We delete applications automatically about 6 months (180 days) after you apply. If we offer you a role, we will keep the records we need for your employment or engagement under separate terms. If you would like us to keep your details for longer for future roles, tell us and we will ask for your agreement. The copy of your application that we email to our hiring mailbox is deleted by us when it is no longer needed, and on request.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling to assess applications.
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can object to how we use it. Email privacy@sremonitor.io and we will respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
